Trying to find out information about CAC makers mark and it is coming up hard to find.
But I maybe getting closer.

I see that you have posted your query in the Birmingham Hallmarks section. This is a Sheffield mark. However CAC is not included in the standard reference for Sheffield marks of the period (the "h" dates it to 1900/01), The Sheffield Assay Office Register by B W Watson. This may be because it is a fruit knife and these are sometimes seen with apparently unregistered marks which prove to be Birmingham makers' marks. This may be the case here but Birmingham makers' marks are sparsely documented and I cannot find a matching CAC mark in any of my references.
