Help with continental (?) marks

These two marks are on the inside of the bowl of a teaspoon with the handle in the shape of a goat hoof. I have seen almost identical spoons from 1920s-30s from Germany.
A symbol and SMT in a square, and a symbol with RD in a circle. Are they maker's marks?
Thanks

First of all make sure it is solid silver.
Those marks have a silverplate feel

The 'RD' mark, I believe, is that of Ravinet & D'Enfert of Paris.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
My mark seems be be associated with that company's silver plate from 1891-1912ish..
