Help needed - Silverplate candelabra - can't find manufacturer

I've had a tatty candelabra for 25+ years after picking it up from a pile of junk in a house clearance. I was going to spray it with silver coloured paint to give it a bit of bling before Xmas, and only today when cleaning it did I notice it was marked as silverplate, so think I'm going to put the spray can down and get some silver plating formula instead :-)
I have gone blind looking at countless makers marks and can't find one that matches this one.
Here is the mark on the base and also inside the hollow of each of the 5 sconces the logo AB made in England stamped.
It's a flourished A with a smaller sized B attached to it.
It could be a pseudomark, I have no idea, no idea of it's age - I suspect not that old - 1940s at the oldest, but I am curious as to it's provenance and I enjoy going down research rabbitholes for the sake of it.
