help determine the year of the snuff box

The inside and lid of the snuff box is marked 1793-1798.
and on the sides of the lid there are markings 1818-1838
Help me determine what year this snuff box was made

Your box was made in Paris between 1819-1838 of 950 standard silver as indicated by the head of Michelangelo facing right in an octagonal reserve, and the guarantee mark of a Gorgon head in an oval reserve.

The marks of the Association des Orfèvres were used well into the 19th C, and are not a reliable indication of date of manufacture.

If you clean out the maker’s mark in the lozenge-shaped reserve, and provide a focused image, someone might help you to identify the maker.

This box may be a vesta case because of what looks like a strike plate on the end.
