Hello, this knife is not in its original state, blade and handle are from two different makers. The blade is by VSF - Vereinigte Silberwarenfabriken Düsseldorf, the handle by Meyen and Co from Berlin, The name of the pattern is not known. Regards, Bahner

Thank you very much for your help. But we have 6 knives like this and they are all the same. Is it possible that originally the blades were ordered from another company by the producer of the handles? In Russian silver it is very common, for example. Or in Germany you did not have this kind of practice?
Of course, it is possible that somebody bought 6 German knives with one handle and 6 German knives with another handle and perfectly changed them but it sounds rather strange. Also the motives of the handle and of the blade are from one “lake” story, and all the knives are in perfect condition.
