Bible with silver clasp, 18th century

19th century Bible with a 18th century silver clasp. The clasp is marked with an for me unclear mark and dated with 1781.
Hopefully you see something in the marks?

The maker's mark: block letters G.B in an oval with a tree between the letters for Gerrit Boomsma. Registered in the city of Meppel, was also a shopkeeper and traveled the markets in Drenthe, working from 1744 to 1788. Born; Leeuwarden 28-4-1719. Died: Meppel 6-12-1788, buried in the Dutch Reformed Church in Meppel
