Reval 1887

Post by silverfan »

Typical Russian shape coffee spoons marked LM for Leopold Eduard Michelsen 1847-1888, whose work is not judged very positiv by Adolf Friedenthal on page 112. Who is the assayer? I couldn't find cyrillic IA in "Baltisches Silber" by Annelore Leistikow. Was there an assayer Ivan Andreev?

Hello silverfan!
You are right - the assaer is Ivan Andreev. He worked in Reval in 1886-1888.
