Hi everyone,
I have a chalice with a hallmark that very closely resembles Jean-Louis berger, but the first letter appears to be a P or R. The UN Vase is also more centered than I seen in other examples. There is what appears to be half a hallmark with a womans face. The other two marks I cant identify. Any help would be appetited.

The chalice also has both "Michel-Angel" and "Ceres" Hallmarks

Francois Isaac Bertrand [later Bertrand-Paraud]

Born: Jul 1787, Paris
Married: 20 Sep 1812, Marie-Emilie Paraud (1795-1832), daughter of silversmith Pierre Paraud (1775-1812) and Marguerite Hoguet (1775-1866)
Died: 19 Apr 1832, Paris, old 8th arrondissement

He was a maker of liturgical wares whose mark – FJB with a liturgical cruet and rose – was registered in 1817 at 48 rue des Arcis. He was the succesor to his mother-in-law, Marguerite Hoguet, the widow Paraud (who had succeeded her husband Pierre Paraud in 1812) and he appended his wife’s surname to his own upon assuming the business.

Francois Isaac Bertrand and his wife Marie Emilie Paraud died one day apart on 19 and 20 April 1832 respectively: doubtless both were victims of the hideous cholera plague which ravaged Paris that spring. He was succeeded once again by his mother-in-law until 1837 when his son, Hippolyte Francois Bertrand-Paraud (1813-1901), assumed the business until 1844.
