I have an old silver ladle I’m trying to get more info on. I know it’s Sterling and from London, but now I’m stuck. I would appreciate any advice.

HI and welcome to the forum.

That doesn't, at first glance, look like a London hallmark but your picture is far too small to see the necessary details. Please post a larger picture.

That’s a George Sharp trademark. American coin silver I believe, unless it’s marked sterling.

Ah, maybe it is George Sharp. I don’t see a Sterling mark. How do I know if it’s coin silver?

Actually, looking at it closer, we found a Bailey & Co stamp!

Can anyone help with the other hallmarks?
I know this is Bailey & Co. And the lion and shield indicates it is British? Is that true? Is this Sterling or coin silver.

This is quite definitely not British and your picture is still not clear enough to see what is in the shield.

It is Bailey & Co's standard mark for sterling goods.

From an advertisement in an 1859 periodical which I’ve seen in the past and had forgotten about:
