Unknown Spoon

So I just picked up a beautiful spoon with these markings:

I am having trouble tracing it. The hallmarks look British to me. Obviously some of the hallmarks are worn off and I am assuming the one you can still partially see may have been a passant.

There are a number of "IB" British makers.

I would assume the S is a date letter and the options for a circle with an S in my literature are:

1. Newcastle 1881
2. York 1804
3. Birmingham 1867
4. An early Glasglow mark

However none of the "IB" makers I can find overlap with these dates. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Please show us an image of the spoon and a fuller-sized image of the marks. Also please explain why some marks are "obviously" worn off; are there any traces farther along the shaft? I am asking because I am not so sure that these are British marks.

I say obviously because that one marking is half worn away. So I can assume there is at least one marking that I cannot tell what it is.

I am not sure what they are either. The date hallmark does not look like the other British items I have. However in the encyclopedia of hallmarks (Millers) that I have, there are a number of S in circle British date hallmarks which I posted above. The other S in circle options with similar font were the Netherlands 1928 or 1852 date hallmark, or a town mark for Sala in Sweden.

Here is an image of the front and back.
