Hello all,

I wonder if anyone can say exactly what this is for?

It would appear to be a mount for something but what? there is no small lip on the base to house a glass liner etc.

Very much hunting themed with super detailing.

Hallmarked from London in 1885, the sponsors mark is Frederick Brasted.

Measures 133x90mm and stands 54mm tall at the highest point, weighs 125g.

Regards,
Colin

::::::::::: Is it possible that whatever this was used for is depicted in the details? ::::::::::::::::
:::: If it is not perfectly circular, and if it is slightly oblong, could it be a mount for a flask? :::::
