Candlestick from Iran (?)

I bought this candlestick today in the fleemarket.
I think this is from Iran.
Can anyone confirm (or deny) this and identify the maker?

Very nice item! This is definitely Iran (Persia). Unfortunately, the maker is unknown to me.

This could be كاويان Kavian or possibly كاوياني Kaviani
Kavian is a small town in Iran - an unlikely hub of silversmithing - but both words can be family names. It is more likely the name of the smith although I have not come across the name before in connection with Iranian silver.
There is evidence on line of a contemporary Kavian Jewelry in Tehran
