The Netherlands or Belgium 1815-1830 - Unidentified silver mark

Hi all,

I saw some weeks ago in a flea market in the South of France a silver sprinkling spoon ("cuiller à saupoudrer") that I could not photograph, sorry.

According to one of the mark I already knew : a fist holding a stick with the letter O or G ? (not sure of the letter, because the mark was a bit torn) in a circle, the spoon was made either in Roermond (now in The Netherlands) or in Bruges (now in Belgium), between 1815-1830 (source : De geschiedenis en de officiele merken van de keurkammers voor de waarborg van goud en zilver in Belgie van 1794 tot no [van Dievoet, 1980])

I guess that the silversmith mark could help in the identification of the city in which this item was made : an anchor, letters HD, a compass, in a lozenge.
Do you know the name of this Dutch or Belgian silversmith ?

Thanks for your help !

One more try in order to embed the picture :

I also realize that this post could be more consistent in the "Dutch Silver" part of the forum.

As you described an anchor, letters HD, a compass, in a lozenge, no match Belgian or Dutch maker's marks .

Thanks Trev. fr the "technical" update, I hope it will do better next time I try insert a pic !

Thanks Peter for your information. The mark I read was not so clean and a bit worn, so I may have misread it.
