To play the ball. Have you tested the metal, if silver perhaps Swiss? What is it, a vase, the size?

That is a pewter mark. I'm unsure of the maker.

Hi Trev,
I wrote to this firm asking them to tell me whose mark of pewter utensils it is. They replied that they simply took the image they liked (not knowing what it meant) and put it on their products. So that mark remains in question.

The pewter mark turned out to be fake! It is an attempt to depict the 17th-century French mark.
