I came across an interesting snippet while researching some details of Elkington & Co. Ltd. It concerns a court appeal case with Elkington's as the plaintiffs and one Amery as the defendant.

The defendant would have been no less than the infamous John Amery.
John Amery was the son of the highly respected Conservative government minister, Rt. Hon. Leopold Amery, MP. Around the time of this court case John Amery left England and during WWII wrote and broadcasted Nazi propaganda from Germany to the British public. He was arrested in Italy in 1945 and returned to England.
He was tried at the Old Bailey in November 1945 where he pleaded guilty to eight counts of high treason. John Amery was hanged on the 19th December 1945 at Wandsworth Prison, London. He was aged 33 years.
