Hello. I have a gold - not silver - bracelet, but I think makers used the same marks for both silver and gold jewellery. It's a very pretty gate and bead bracelet marked with what looks like one of the maker's marks for Thomas Marples, registered in both Sheffield and Birmingham in the mid-1800s. However, I can find no record of him making any jewellery – only silver fruit knives. I can find no other maker's mark anything like it that it might be. But perhaps you know of one? TIA.

:::: Look at the hallmarks closely, are those casting artifacts within the hallmarks? :::::: These hallmarks seem like they were details which were part of the original casting mold, like the entire piece of gold was cast and this is the way the design emerged, so it does give the appearance of traditionally "stamped" hallmarks, but these hallmarks are actually "cast" from the original casting mold. ::::::
