Hamburg Sugar Tong - Production Years and Maker?

Hello everyone,
As you can see, the Hamburg hallmark on this sugar tong is unfortunately quite worn. However, perhaps someone here might recognize the letter of the mark, which could help determine the approximate production date. Alternatively, does anyone happen to know the maker associated with the "P" hallmark?
Given the style of the sugar tong and the bright cuts, I believe it might date back to the 1830s.
