I've tried researching this for months but can't find anything. I inherited some rings from my Grandmother & am trying to identify the makers/hall marks. I tried the UK Assay office (my family are all from London) & they told me these aren't UK markings and nothing has come back on Google.
One ring has what looks like '303' stamped (am undecided if this is 303 or 703), and then a string of numbers 137/13/5 and then what looks like '45 book'
One ring has what i'm pretty sure is '18ct' so 18carat stamped, a 'C' (which i thought was the UK year, but now the assay office have told me these aren't UK marks, am not sure) and then 3986. I wondered if this was a Boucher mark as another forum said they marked all their jewellery with codes, but am not sure that would align.
Any help from anyone out there would be greatly appreciated!!!
Many thanks
