Hello, me again...

I´m searching for some information about this nice Lorgnette:

Image

Image
925? 935? i´m not able to read it - and Letter "O" or Number "Zero"?

Image
800 and Letters "AM" in an oval

Is anybody able to say something about this nice Logrnette for Women?
Eventually the Maker of it? I thaught it was "AM" - Arthur Moehrle, Schwabisch Gmund but i don´t know.

»AM« in an oval wasn’t ever »Arthur Möhrle« - they are a Silverwares factory!

Hello »himbeer«

That’s a well known, but dangerousside-effect” of many maker’s-marks-guides: Almost of them don’t indicate, next to the marks image, also the main product range and specialities of the maker.

The maker’s mark of »Arthur Möhrle« isn’t an »AM« in an oval — but an »AM« in a horizontally divided shield upper half, and in the lower half, there is a trefoil.

They are one of the “younger” of the old ones of the Schwäbisch Gmünd Silverwares factories; now 115 years “old”.

Please look here: http://moehrle-silber.de/englisch/index ... n%20Silver" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But yours descriptions, related to the several images, are seems to be very confused!

Second photo: »925? 935? i´m not able to read it - and Letter "O" or Number "Zero"?«
But I “see”, also if I enlarge by 400 %, in French engraved only »Cylindre Quatre rubis«
Well, on the inner side of the cover are some engravings and punches of numerals; but not legible!

Third photo: »800 and Letters "AM" in an oval«
But I “see”, also if I enlarge by 400 %, struck only an oval mark with »CF« inside.
Well, on the inner side of the dustcover are some punches of numerals; but not legible too!

Maybe that is also one of the reasons, that you haven’t got any answers?

Kind regards silverport
