Greetings!

Can anyone help me sort out the character mark on this item? I believe the lion is OK, the anchor indicates Birmingham, but the third character I cannopt match with anything I am able to find.

Thanks for any help you might be able to give me with this.

This is a Canadian piece made by P. W. Ellis & Co. The middle character is an E for Ellis.

Hi,
The mark is an E over a maple leaf, for Ellis Bros. of Toronto (bought out by Birks in 1921-2. Birks was known as Birks-Ellis in Toronto until WW2.
