Silver frame, insect hallmark

I am stumped by a silver daguerreotype picture frame I inherited. The hallmarks, which are too small for my camera, are (in this order): an X in a box, then either an 85 or an 8S (with the 5 or S slightly lower than the 8), then an insect in a box. The insect has a circle for its head, two legs on either side, then at least four circles, each getting smaller for its tail. I thought it might be Dutch because the “X” looks similar to the 1880 date mark on this site. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Probably not Dutch.

No, unfortunately, the bug is much more simple. Hollow circles making up its head and body and just "straight lines" for legs. The "X" is by itself in a box as is the insect. The 85 or 8s (which I believe might be silver content) has no box. None of the hallmarks is over 1/16th of an inch high.
Thanks for asking, though! :)
