only 2 marks on Napoleonic emblemed box

My 5" oval silver box has ornate Napoleon decoration covering the whole top (eagle, big N, 2 female figures, garlands, crossed scepters or swords, etc.), but only 2 marks on the bottom. The first mark is a capital, block letter N, inside a depression of the same letter N. The second mark is a head facing left inside a lobed, shield-shaped depression. The shape of this shield depression is one I can't find anywhere in any country's silver marks, maker's marks or hallmarks on this website. The head inside it is very worn and flattened. I can't take a picture, so I'm hoping that the Napoleon subject of the decoration might help. Any ideas out there?

You don't need to start a new thread. Just post here. Less confusing for others.
