Identity of Mexican Silver Mark (AG inside Dove) MG-144

We have a pair of Mexican hand-wrought sterling earrings, with mounted reverse-etched glass reliquaries.
Back is marked AG within a dove or pigeon shape, along with MG144 - MEX925.
I'm assuming the M refers to Mexico City and the G is the silversmith's last name.
Anyone know the identity of "AG"?
