Enrique Ledesma, a second generation silversmith, worked in his father's Mexico City workshop as a child. After an education in art, he relocated to Taxco and worked for Spratling, Aguilar and Los Castillo. He opened his own workshop in 1950 and his jewelry is well regarded for design quality and the seamless blending of stone, usually obsidian, with silver. Ledesma died in 1979. |
