Robert Hendery
Montreal, Canada - (d.1897) active c.1841-1887, successor to Bohle & Hendery. Hendery became one of the largest wholesale silver manufacturers in 19th century Canada and provided numerous retailers with his silver. Most, if not all, Canadian silver marked with the "lion rampant & bust" pseudomarks is thought to have been made by Hendery. The firm was succeeded by Hendery & Leslie in 1887. |
