Unidentified N H or H N mark on salt spoon
This two die mark is on a pair of coin salt spoons. Anyone seen it before? The same mark is illustrated in Flynt & Fales, Heritage Foundation Collection of Silver, p. 366, but it is not identified. http://d.imagehost.org/t/0656/1937_204.jpg http://b.imagehost.org/t/0430/1937_204_img2.jpg

WF mark on toasting fork
Can anyone help with this mark on a mid or late 18th century toasting fork? The mark does not match up with the WF marks of William G. Forbes or William Faris. There is not a full set of hallmarks but I wonder if it might be British http://www.flickr.com/photos/26102598@N06/3442814598/" onclick...

Can you identify this maker's mark?
The New-York Historical Society has a chest of chasing and engraving tools from the early 20th century. The silversmith who used them is not known, but this maker's stamp is among the tools. Does anyone recognize it? http://www.flickr.com/photos/26102598@N06/2448503625/" onclick="window.op...

Boar's head pseudo hallmark on Wm. G. Forbes sugar bowl
Has anyone seen this mark before? It appears on the inside of the flared footring of a ca. 1810 sugar bowl marked by William G. Forbes of NYC, also marked with pseudo hallmarks of sheaf of wheat and bird's head. http://www.flickr.com/photos/26102598@N06/2449326936/" onclick="window.open(th...
