Just to make sure I completely understand this; the hallmark you have on your photo is for the maker, but your piece is also silverplate because it does not contain the required British Hallmarks, correct?

The "pattern" isn't a pattern at all! It's simply the letter "H" with no other markings, or decorative things. Just the shape.
