W.A. Perry & Co., Birmingham
I have searched trying to find, without results, whether W.A. Perry & Co. baby cup I have is sterling or simply silverplate. Although it isn't marked as such, either by 925 or sterling mark, I notice that there are hallmarks on it, namely W.A.P. & Co. in a rectangle, an anchor and a lion pas...

Knickerbocker Silver Co. Backstamp
I would like to know what dates the Knickerbocker Silver Co. used for the 2 different backstamps: the capital letter "K" and the Paul Revere one. I know that the Paul Revere one is more common/prevalent, but was wondering about the "K" one, like was it used before the Paul Revere...

Emile Puriforcat Sterling (What is it?)
Came across this piece of sterling, can identify EP (maker), Minerva No. 1 (Paris), and another mark that resembles some sort of unidentified insect. Have seen this type of piece called asparagus server, pastry server, gripper. Would like to know identity of piece, approx. date of piece, and any oth...

Re: Silverplate or ??
Thanks much for all the help and info. Was hoping for a little older than 22 yrs. I'm gathering from the info that it is Sterling and not Silverplate. Am I correct in my assumption?

Silverplate or ??
I have a demitasse spoon, measures 3-3/4" long, design of a thistle on end of handle. The hallmarks are in the front side of the bowl of the spoon, very hard to photo. Long story short, I don't know origin, maker, date or even if it's silverplate. Would appreciate any help given. Thanks. Front ...

Egyptian Mark?
Is this an Egyptian mark, and if so, would the piece be sterling, how old, and from where? Any help would be appreciated.

Silver Tray ~ only mark is "925 Sterling" + Lion +
I have a couple of questions concerning this tray. Considering it's size (11" x 15.5") and it's weight (931 grams), which I believe should be converted to troy ounces (29.93) I find it quite heavy. Is it usual for sterling to have no maker's mark or date hallmark? I assume that the "1...

http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg75/justlindalinda/IMG_3341.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg75/justlindalinda/IMG_3283.jpg Would this be known as a bonbon basket, or is there another better known description? I'm wondering what the last mark would be. I think the date mark is "x&q...
