I can't figure out how to get an image uploaded.
I figured you would have an idea based on description, but I guess not.
Thanks anyway.

Continental Silver Co Tray - strange marks
Quick Question. I have a large tray with the same hallmark of "Continental Silver Co." as the top portion of the image in this post: viewtopic.php?t=38539 The only difference is mine has a standing rampant lion to the left of the mark (very similar to the Scottish sterling mark, but the li...

Large Figural Spoon 1826? Chester, Unkown mark
This spoon appears to have a Chester mark, but I can not ID the maker, which is "BHJ" Also marked 930 and on the back stamped "A. Barrett & Sons, Piccadilly" My images are too large, but here is the first one, just change the last number to see the others: http://leedowdyanti...

German? Early Wine Basket
Any ideas on this mark? It appears to be early, and I assumed it is German? <p> http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/6/7/7/3/2/4/webimg/617303090_tp.jpg http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/6/7/7/3/2/4/webimg/617303189_tp.jpg http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/6/7/7/3/2/4/webimg/617303494_tp.jpg http://img.au...

Re: German Dog Form 800 Silver Salts
Do you see the marks in the second pic? My main issue is getting them hosted. The marks on the back of the dog is different than the marks on the other dog, even though they are exactly the same. The both have the 800 mark. You can' make anything out from that small mark your arrow is pointed to. Lee

Re: German Dog Form 800 Silver Salts
Hi Thanks Cheryl,
I can't seem to get larger photos. The one dog is marked J R, then an Ax pointed left and I think there is one other mark. On the other dog, the mark appears to be a compass? Or perhaps a sextant?

1976 AT&T Award Marked "Sterling" with touch m
This is an interesting modern award that was given in 1976. It is marked Sterling with the mark that looks like "deM". I would like to figure out the maker or artist. It is very high quality. Any help would be great! Lee http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/iemptyestates/IMG_3560.jpg http://imgs.in...

Antique Silver Plated Martini Shaker
I am trying to figure out the maker of this martini Shaker. It appears to be a line of hallmarks. If anyone can help me out, it would be most appreciated! http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/jaybardee/IMG_2221.jpg http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/jaybardee/IMG_2222.jpg http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/jaybardee/IMG_2...

Antique Silver Plated Tea and Coffee Service Marked Ore?
Can anyone help ID this mark? This tea set came from a very wealthy family who owned mainly French antiques. The mark appears to say "Ore" with different numbers stamped on each piece. http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/2/2/2/9/5/7/webimg/279737012_o.jpg http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/2/2/...
