This is probably from 1880-1920s is my guess it's American. Please let me know if anybody recognizes it.

Yes its magnetic and it does spring open on its own. Nobody has mentioned what the 7 mark on the case is, its away from the other marks.

I did some research but am not very well qualified, it looks like the FB might be an English mark, but it doesn't seem to have any of the other associated marks, also there is a 7 mark which I'm unsure of.
