Spoon with heart hallmarks and "K"
Somehow the images have been lost. I've uploaded them again to another server. Can anybody give me a hint, where this spoon could com from? http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gka3RmjfQqE/TjU5qZ-ckSI/AAAAAAAABgA/yLEmckccaPM/s800/IMG_1652.JPG http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Bd-yNgrqPPI/TjU5rb6YMNI/AA...

Silver bowl with putti
Hi, does anybody have an idea where this beautiful silver bowl could come from? There is the usual post-1886 German hallmark (it was quite hard to find it) but unfortunately no maker's mark. Or else I could not find it anywhere on the bowl. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QT0GfQHdsTY/TjU3F9ArODI/...

Spoon with Berlin hallmark
Hi, I guess the bear with the letter 'L' stands for Berlin, mit 19th century, am I correct? I could not find the letter 'L' in Rosenberg's Der Goldschmiede Merkzeichen. Does anybody know which maker used the wide zigzag line in combination with the gothic 'D'? I assume 'Wiln' would be the mark for t...

Small knife marked IS and Bronce
Hi,
this small knife is marked with 830 and IS (or SL if you hold it the other way). On the blade is the word "Bronce". I'm not sure whether this is from a German maker. I'd be thankful if someone had an idea where this knife might come from.
Thanks!

Hi,

Another J.S mark
Hi,
here's another JS mark, this time just the two letters in a row on a serving fork. The usual half-moon crown mark for German silver is missing. Just the J.S. Is this also Josef Schmid?
Thanks

Strange mark - F and triangle
Hi,
I found this strange mark on a cake showel. It looks like an F and a triangle. On the other side is the usual German half-moon and crown mark. Any idea which maker is behind this mark?
Thanks,
Flaubert

Re: German Marks - Initial JS
I just found another beautiful tee strainer with a mark quite similar to the above Josef Schmid mark. But here the J is much smaller and fits inside the S while on the other examples the J is the taller letter. Could this still be Josef Schmid? The handle is marked with JS and 835 on both sides. No ...

Re: Bruckmann & Sonne tea set
Hi,
in the catalogue "P. Bruckmann & Söhne - Silber aus Heilbronn für die Welt" on p. 139 you finde a few images of a quite similar patterned border. It is identified as designed by Helene Brandt (1879-1950) in 1913.

Re: German Marks - Initial JS
Thanks to this post, I found out that we also own a candleholder by Josef Schmid (unfortunately there does not seem to be any literature on this maker). But this one looks more like 1920s style.

Help with Mark J.B. Haag
Hi, here's another maker's mark I could not find any further information about: I've got a pastry fork marked with an eagle and "J.B. Haag" and a soup ladle in the same design marked with eagle and diamond (?). I'd love to know more about the maker(s) of those pieces. Thanks! IMG_1447.JPG ...
