Re: Date of Charles Robbins Mark
Was looking at the entry for Sterling Flatware Fashions which seems to imply that it may be from circa 1900 - 1910.

Thank you for sharing with us Finn. If you could leave the images posted would be of great assistance to the next person. If you wouldn't mind rotating the marks image would make it easier to read them.

Yes I would agree with you, only my confusion of the marks of the father and son make it difficult for me.

Re: Unknown markings on 1764 serving spoon
No Qrt,
I always confuse them myself inspite of the fact that they are clearly marked here. The year mark is the only item that normally keeps me on track. Any thoughts on the makers mark?

Worth a bump.
Would it be possible to see both marks rolled over, may make more sense to someone.

Thanks Traintime,
Will work through this as soon as I can. Besides my Android phone, am shooting those images to my Windows 10 laptop.
Much appreciated

How to operate Postimage.com
Those with limited skills need some assistance. Had been posting images to posts for some time on PhotoBucket then dropped out when they started to charge. That was some years ago. Recently read the post where one of our members suggested using Postimage.com. Have signed up but am having difficulty ...

Re: Coin Silver Spoon with H? Mark
Your welcome Silverly. We all have our silver with obscure marks that may or may not be identified now or in the future. In a number of cases reading through the posts here and on other sites does help track down some of them. All of you have also gotten me looking at work that I would not do otherw...

Your right what I spotted had two marks. Would still like to see the mark turned over for a better look. What do you both think of the spoon itself?

Re: 17th century german silver spoon
Good morning, The last photo's mark appears to be an assay office for the city Baja in the former Confederation of Austria - Hungary. There should be a loth number 13 at the bottom which is missing from the spoon I have which looks nothing like yours. Gentleman I purchased it from indicated at date ...

Re: Help with marks please
Good day Lee,
The marks are from Persia/Iran. The language is Farsi. If you rotate your first image from the lower right position to the upper left, it will be easier for other members to read. The calligraphy on the central figure most likely identifies who he is.
Hope this helps

Glad you enjoyed it Doug,
Have a Norwegian teaspoon with the same marks as yourself for 1806. Was reading through another thread when I spotted the possible maker's mark on mine, just needed to flip the spoon over. Good luck on your search.
