Weird Geometric designs for Hallmark

Image

This is a tough one. It has a rectangle and the infinity sign as the makers hallmark. Couldn't figure it out. It is marked Sterling and pat'd 10. Any help would be appreciated.

Is this dish Silver?

http://thumb2.webshots.net/t/58/758/8/89/25/2029889250103385822DOPloc_th.jpg This is a little dish that has some cool markings on it, but I can't really make out the hallmarks under the griffin. Hopefully you guys can help shed some light on the origin and silver content of this piece for me. Thank...

800 SILVER ORNATE CAKE SERVER CHALLENGING MARK

Boy, this one is stumping me guys. It's not that I didn't try, it's just that I can barely make out the mark. What I see is a buffalo and an antelope. The 800 is easy. I'm guessing German made mid to late 1800's? Give me your opinion if you have any input at all. Thanks. http://aycu25.webshots.com/i...

Unknown 800 silver charm mark

I have a charm bracelet with some old charms and cannot find the makers mark anywhere. It is of European make I'm sure, but I can't ID it using this site at all. The figure is some kind of worker with a ladder. Let me know if you guys have an idea of what this one is. Thanks. http://aycu13.webshots....

Who is JRW & S?

I have a sterling serving spoon. The marking on it is JRW & S. I checked in the American Sterling marks area and could not find anything. This serving spoon dates back from about the 1880's from the San Francisco area in the USA. Thanks again in avance you guys are super. Happy holidays.

You guys are good. How bout this piece of flatware :)

I was told that this belonged to a gentleman from San Francisco in the mid 1800s. The mark is a double headed griffin, or lion with a W in a circle in front of it. On top of that it says sterling. I would also like to know what the hect the one with a roll in it is. Oh yeah, and the name of the patt...

Thanks for a quick reply guys. I had no idea. I actually thought the G was a date letter but didn't think the piece was from the mid 1800s. Again thanks all and especially Cheryl for nailing it down. Happy hollidays.

Hi guys, I have a little problem today. This spoon that I have shows a Birmingham sterling mark but the calligraphy G confuses me. And the worse part of this is that it is stamped "Copyrighted". I'm dead in the water on this one boys. Please tell me all you can about this piece. I don't ev...
