Lotus flower in the centre is post 1946. The mark on the right is the date letter. 1982 is the date. I've zoomed in here and they are a bit clearer here. The seven has the line across the top, but the cat and date letter are also present.

Well, I've really cropped in here - I think it is three blobs together. Which would mean it is 1944. But there is still no assay city. It kind of leaves me a bit unfinished. Think I've cracked this Egyptian heavy bangle but...
They replaced the cat with the lotus in 1946 so it's pre-1946. They started using the date letters in 1940 and this is the sixth letter of the alphabet - so back to 1946!
