Re: Country of Orgin and Date Help on Flatware
Thank you for all of this information. I am impressed that you all found out so much information. I wasn't getting anywhere with the H&S I thought they were some type of mark other than the brand and didn't even realize that a retailer would put their name on silverware. Learning so much. I appr...

Country of Orgin and Date Help on Flatware
Hello. I hope I am in the right section. I am looking for information on the marks on this antique silver utensil. I have a very large set of flatware that has been in my family and I am trying to determine where this comes from, or any information. It says " J&H.C. Walter" and then it...

Re: Need Help "Sterling-RR" mark on old broach
Hi. I think the mark is Ralfe Rings, Buffalo NY, 1935. I found the same brooch listed on eBay and I found the maker mark on a jewelry research website but can't find any other information. I don't know if I am allowed to post links to other websites, but if you search Ralfe Rings and then look at im...

I am learning so much on this post. Thank you I never even heard of the Cross Pattée before. And the house used to be a convent, so being worn as a sign of fait definitely makes sense. Thank you for the replies!

Re: Antique Iron Cross Sterling Ring. Possibly WWI German. Help with Mark and Date Please
Thank you for your comment. That would make sense from where it was found, and there are 10 beads. I had no idea such a thing exists! And it's funny that the person who is selling the exact same ring, is completely wrong, though there were iron cross rings with dates on them from WWI that looked a l...

Antique Iron Cross Sterling Ring. Possibly WWI German. Help with Mark and Date Please
Hello. My mother found this ring about 15 years ago in a home in NY that was built in 1908. It is marked STERLING. And then there is another mark next to it, that as far as I can tell is some type of circle with 4 openings. I looked under a jewelers loop, and magnified with my camera, but I just can...

Bracelet 925 TH with side by side triangle mark help
Hello! I have a bracelet marked 925 TH and what looks like 2 small side by side triangles. I am trying to figure out who made it, or where it was made, and when it may have been made. I read on a few sites that TH is for Thai silver, but I am not sure that this is right. If you can help me out, I wo...

A few years late! I never did find out any information about the mark. Did you find out any information? Is it the same mark? I would be curious to hear any information that you were able to learn. I hope you like your ring.

Makers Mark Help- KK (with Ks back to back) or HH or HK
Hi. I am hoping someone can help me get information about the marks on a peridot gold ring that was handed down to me from my grandmother. I believe the ring is gold though there are no gold marks like 10k or 14k. I can post a picture of the ring shortly, the current photo isn't showing up properly ...
