8" Silverplate Serving Spoon
This spoon was engraved with my father's initials, APB, when he was born and was in our house for as long as I can remember. It has always been in the condition that it is in currently so there has never been any doubt that it is silverplate, not sterling and there have been many attempts to 'decode...

This button hook has been in the family for many years and I have made several attempts to find the mark that appears at the end of the word 'Sterling' with no luck. I believe it to be British silver as most of my family came from Plymouth but I was never told directly that it was. Any help would be...
