Also I should have said the mark is a six pointed star with a circle in the middle, the initials SE and a symbol(see pics for that)

Hi, I got this recently thought it was unusual in terms of the colour. You can see the difference in the ring it has been fixed with yellow gold and the other metal is a very dark gold (?). Personally yes, I can see the letter and number are similar.
