Scandinavian Silver Mark on Owl Brooch?
I believe this great modernist sterling owl brooch is Scandinavian. But I have been unable to identify the maker's mark. Thank you in advance for the help identifying the maker of this brooch and confirming if my hunch its Scandinavian origins. Bob https://i.imgur.com/32vxuMh.jpg https://i.imgur.com...

Re: Assistance with Sterling Basket Maker's Mark
Thank you Cheryl. I wasn't sure if it was American and appreciate the input. I bought it in England from a dealer who specializes in antique silver - not sure if that will make a difference at all in solving the mystery. The one thing I am 100% sure of is that it is not English! :) Hoping someone wi...

Assistance with Sterling Basket Maker's Mark
I am trying to identify the unknown maker of a sterling Art Nouveau bride’s basket. I have searched all my reference materials and have not had any luck. The 925 stamp is clear and I think the other mark is either n97 or r.97. The mystery maker’s mark appears to be pictorial rather than a rubbed ini...

Re: Assistance with Sterling Spoon Mark - San Fran spoon
Thank you for the replies. This spoon did come in a collection with the F&F spoon. It is hard to see an F in the mark. Definitely appears to be a rounded letter like a B vs a mis-stamped F. But even with a jewelry loop it is hard not to go cross-eyed looking at silver marks. Appreciate the sugge...

Assistance with Sterling Spoon Mark - San Fran spoon
I discovered this great silver spoon with a very intricate handle with what appears to be a gold nugget finial. Unfortunately part of the ribbon decoration has broken off but it is still a great souvenir spoon. Only problem is I can't figure out the mark. It appears to be a 'B' inside a circle. But ...

Help identifying Georgian silver mark for Sterling Salts
I have a pair of what I believe to be Georgian period London hallmarked sterling silver master salts but have been unable to identify the silversmith. My best guess is "CP" or "LP" written in script but the mark is rubbed so it's tough to tell for sure. Thanks for any help you ca...

Assistance confirming maker's mark - Clément?
I have this fiddleback spoon that has a Minerva hallmark and what appears to be a "CLÉMENT" markers mark. But I have been unable to find out anything about a French silversmith named Clement. The mark also appears to have a key above the name and a five point star below. I would appreciate...

Thank you, dognose! Yes - there are 7 dots/holes in the corner - they are arranged in a triangular shape resembling a Christmas tree.
