My friend does valuations on gems and has graded the diamond at between D and E grade F and the cut is in his words ...

Little bit of additional info ,i had this looked at today by a diamond specialist friend ,who thinks that solely based on the cut of the diamond this is a very high end piece of jewelery ,and possibly Faberge .He estimated the manufacture date of around 1880-1900

Hi ,the snuff box is marked both under the lid and inside the bottom half with the same marks ,there is also a moscow mark on the hinge outside on one side
