I have a dumb question and hate to reopen this - but was this kind of spoon ever mass produced? A dealer told me it was from about 1900-1920 and not Scandinavian but Russian and mass produced using cloisonné and said its worth 10 or so dollars so not worth insurance :) It very well might be Russian...

I got confirmation that the knife is in fact August Knetch, the thimble is actually a made by Lotthammer (not sure if anyone could use a picture for reference)

Not sure if I should mention the magnets I tested with are those rare earth magnets - :o the silver didnt see to jump to it but it did stick a little
