Wow, I can't believe I got it. My son came over and had a look and said it looked like the name was Larin. Turns out it is. The piece is actually made and signed by Robert Larin and is a cast pewter with silverplate done in the lost wax process. If you google Robert Larin you can find out more info....

This is a silver pendant on a very long chain. Hand wrought. Has 2 marks on it. One I can't read at all and the other I can only really make out the last 4 letters. the makers mark matches that on the forks and i did suspect Willam page but I am amazed at the lack of pieces marked Bolivina Silver that I can find on the web.

I have 2 large dinner forks marked Bolivian silver and have the makers mark WP&Co
I can't seem to find any info on them and don't know if they are plated ( they don't look it) or if they are sterling. They are not marked as to silver content. Any info greatly appreciated.

I wondered about that but I did see some Gorham steels on a web site and they looked the same and were called steels or skewers. So I guess we'll never really know umless someone has the original Gorham catalogue to see what they were sold as. Thanks
