The iconography is relatively simple with the artillery crossed cannons on the face and most likely the American eagle on both sides. I have a feeling that this was given to either a youth upon entering an academy or someones sweetheart as it is only a size 5 1/2. The makers marks are what I am real...

These markings are found on a Claddah ring. The makers mark is either DW or DM

I found this ring while metal detecting in Victoria BC. On one side of the band the mark shows "MC" and on the other it shows "SAG"I hope the photos work.The only info I have found to date is that "MC"could be 1775 maker from Ireland. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg....
