Help with Identifying Russian Royal (?) Insignia on Knife & Fork
I recently purchased a collection of Silver Flatware to help settle an Estate. Included were a knife and fork that are of Russian origin, I believe. I believe that the marks indicate that the silver is 84 zolotniki, Josef Sosnkowski - Assayer, Warsaw, Petrograd (anchor) mark. The knife has a Gerlach...

Re: Help with an AMERICAN (I think) Hallmark

Assistance Identifying Maker of American (?) Spoon
I am trying to identify the maker of this American (?) Silver Spoon. The hallmarks are worn, but to me anyway, they look like "an arm holding a hammer" "some sort of animal on a platform" and "an eagle." There is a name written in English on the handle - Sarah Heire(?) ...

Re: Silverplate ?
The basket measures ~7 ¼” long by ~3 ¼” wide by ~3 ½” high (to the top of the handles). It weighs approximately 5 troy ounces of Sterling Silver.

Re: Silverplate ?
THANK YOU MUCH for your note! I have been pursuing WHO the people named on the basket were and how the related to one another, as I had come to a dead end with the Hallmarks. One question though, IF the basket was originally gifted in 1781 as inscribed, wouldn't the Second Earl of Dartmouth been pre...
