French Tastevin? 1798? Any suggestions
Hi friends Bonjour Can anyone help with this French Tastevin? I picked up today at an antiques fair. The marks I am sure are French for the date 1798-1809 but I would not say 100%. 800 silver - Cockerel with a 2. Old man head with 74 in an oval cartouche. I am not sure which town the 74 is; I haven'...

Watch case ? 1824
Hi Guys
I wonder if you can help.
I have a watch case and looking at the flattened lions head with no crown and the shape of the i, I am thinking 1824 but I could be wrong.
Wondered on opinions.
Cheers.

Thanks guys
Appreciated.
I will post pictures of this spoons twin but by a different maker.
Maker on the twin spoon appears to be G or C W. Same year, + Stockholm stamp plus french import stamp.
Always glad for the education.

I wonder if, given the MK is clear but the crowned harp and probably the Hibernia mark are rubbed, whether these are further examples of Keating
forgeries and in fact he was a serial forger.

Small Ladle - Dublin - maker MK, date letter rubbed
Hi Guys I wonder if anyone would hazard a guess at the date of this small ladle which I presume carries a Dublin hallmark. The Maker is MK but the other two marks are fairly rubbed. I am wondering if possibly the date letter could be 1694 but I could be way off. Any guesstimates gratefully received....

Pastry tongs - possibly German
Hi Guys I wonder if anyone can enlighten me regarding what I believe to be Pastry Tongs. 800 fineness with a Crown hallmark. I thought that they were German but there doesn't appear to be a moon. Any help appreciated. 62g - appear cast. I can't find any other mark. 16cm Gary https://i.postimg.cc/5tw...

Swedish spoons 1888 - unsure of town and fineness
Hi Guys I wonder if anyone can help with these two Swedish spoons? What are they used for? I believe the date is 1888 - K6. They are the same year, exactly the same pattern, but one is made by GAB and the other CW. There is a mark before the date mark that appears to be a man with a hat - side view....

Dating a pair of shoe buckles
Hi guys; I wonder if anyone can help. I have a nice pair of shoe buckles which only Lion Passant and makers initials. There are no duty marks so I'm guessing possibly pre 1784. Wondered if anyone could help. Appreciated as always. Gary https://i.postimg.cc/dtChJZ6N/SAM-0914.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/...

Possible shoe buckle, lion passant + maker
Hi Guys Don't know if anyone can help. Found this item today. I'm just possibly guessing that this is a Georgian Shoe Buckle but to be honest I'm not 100% sure. No town or date mark but maker and lion passant. I'm wondering if anyone can identify it and give a rough age from lion passant and maker. ...
