Re: MYSTERY STERLING SPOON
I think that is it.... strange how the "Indian Head" mark doesn't look anything like the ones shown on this website? Feather doesn't go down the back of his head, just sticks straight up.

MYSTERY STERLING SPOON
I have just found this STERLING spoon in amongst some silver plate that belonged to my aunt. I don't know anything about it. I do not think it is terribly old as it really has no "hallmarks" like one would find on old silver (like UK hallmarks). I think the maker of this spoon might possib...

Re: HELP with a Hallmark
The marks on the other box are worn a bit too much to get a clearer view I think. And I realize you are right - on Italian marks the first 2 should be a number with no letters, so it is 20-something.... I will try cleaning the better one more & see what happens.

HELP with a Hallmark
I recently discovered that 2 little wooden trinket boxes I had sitting collecting dust on a shelf both had silver "tops". I just wondered if anyone can identify the silver marks that are stamped into the silver. The "925" of course is the silver content mark and PELLEGRINI is pos...
