Dear amena, thank you for your reply.
I have a hard time to find the identity of the marks for this incense holder and I canoot see any marks on the top of the lid. The second insence holder, the one on the back of the image, has no marks at all, is this possible?
Hi again, more hallmarks for the mind... I am totally new to this, very interesting indeed, feels like an investigator... with these marks on this incense holder I have got No clue whatsoever... Any ideas? Tnx http://img45.imagevenue.com/loc124/th_620296425_925forum_122_124lo.jpg http://img245.image...
In addition now that you helped me with the VC mark, looking around the web, I saw other marks with the VC mark but different numbers, e.g.. 37VC. Could this mean the year?
Thank you AG2012 for the help. I guess it is 4VC, looks like it. The other mark though that looks like a bird to me? It is a mark I cannot find anywhere... How can someone figure out the style of it eg. rococo etc?
Hello to all... I have this set of candle holders that I wish to know more details regarding the items from the stamped hallmarks. In particular I cannot find in the encyclopaedia or elsewhere the mark that looks like a bird? Thank you all for your time... http://img183.imagevenue.com/loc372/th_5705...
