Hello,
This does have low content silver. It looks more copper plated in silver. Iranian. I have a piece like this and was always doubtful it was silver. Like I said it has low content silver.

Hada

Hello,
It says "Seegh Bimayos" meaning crafted in May 1911. A beautiful piece. Very special. I've not seen another either.

Dear WarrenKundis,
I had initially posted that it was of Persian origin but upon a second glance, I realized they were not. Sorry for the confusion. Thank you for the link.

Hello,
These pieces have a strong Persian Kajari resemblance, however they are not Persian. They are Kashmiri. That letter may well be the incorporation of a family crest or simply personalizing the pieces which were produced by Kashmiri artists..

Re: Unknown plate
A fine piece. The left mark is the numeral as Warren states. The writing to to its right simply says "eyar" which simply means content and to the far right, the only clear visible letter is the Arabic (Y), perhaps the initial of the maker.

This has the name of the workshop Markez Al; Fen Lil intaj Maghreb which translates into The Center for the production of Moroccan art. It's not necessarily old nor is it silver.

Re: Antique (Persian?) Filigree Bracelet
Hello Shofner303, The bracelet has indications of Persian artwork, especially the birds, used much in Isfahani artwork. The filigree work is certainly Armenian so there's a possibility that the painted pearls came from Iran but the silver was worked in Armenia. This does not appear so old. Perhaps 5...

Hello Jag,
It's difficult to put a date on this as many pieces have been newly made yet still replicate the design and features of an original Ottoman coin.

Re: Iranian silver maker mark question
Hello,
Your piece is the work of Isfahan, a city in Iran which is written on it as well as the silver content, the number 84 and the name of the maker "Kar Umran". This could possible be around 70 years old.
