Possibly Cuthbert Dinsdale? He is listed in Wyler as working in London in 1865-6 but no other info.

Hi, I've got a couple of these myself. I think, and I stand to be corrected, that the 'hallmarks' are pretty much fake. I suspect these cases were locally made to take imported movements. 'GS' is the importers mark for George Stockwell. He is listed in Priestly's 'Watch Case Makers of England' as a 'Foreign Agent' working between 1907 - 1918 from his premises at 16/18 Finsbury St., London, EC.
