Re: GWC on Coin Silver Butter Knife
This is from a list of Maine Jewelers - don't know if it is any match: Hartford, G. W. C.: JLY & W, Sanford, 1882 That's a very interesting list. GWC Hartford was a retailer of jewelry & watches but I can't find any retailer marks for them. I would think that they would use their last name ...

GWC on Coin Silver Butter Knife
I have a butter knife that I'm certain is coin silver but not sure of the marks on it. It's marked "G.W.C." and has what looks to be a journeyman's mark to the left. Is anyone familiar with GWC? I'm not sure if it is a maker or retailer but am having trouble finding any info. https://lh3.g...

Gold Thimble
Hello, I purchased a thimble collection with some vintage and antique Sterling thimbles. I initially thought this one was a copper or bronze until I looked closer. I've never had English gold, but I'm not sure if this is a gold, gold plated over Sterling or ??? It has a crown with 18 which would mak...

Sterling "AG" Mark
Hello, I have a compote that is marked "Sterling A.G.". I'm not having any luck finding any makers with those initials and I'm wondering if the A.G. just stands for silver? I've found a couple other examples online that show the same mark but nothing that references the maker. Any info is ...

Gorham Pattern Help
Hello, I've got a cake server with a Sterling handle but can't ID the pattern. Not sure if I am just overlooking the correct one but I'm not seeing it. If anyone else can tell which it is it would be greatly appreciated! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/2XAbA3vNVFUWtj0-74UGta_ckJBzgTQWpTA9NQcsHgl37...

Victory Silver belt buckle by Wolverine?

Re: Manus Aase Flat Rose w/"10" Mark
Flat Rose is the name of the pattern that I've seen used. If it were Sterling (or .830 used commonly with MA) I would expect a 5" 2 prong fork to be around 15 to 20 grams, give or take, so I'd think that 10 grams on one silverplate fork unlikely.

Keer & Kingsland Spoon?
Has anybody ever seen any flatware made by Keer & Kingsland before? I have a spoon that is an exact match for their mark, but they were jewelers and I have never seen any flatware attributed to them. They were based out of Attleboro, MA from 1893 to 1904. I haven't been able to locate any other ...

Spanish Silver Spoon?
I have a spoon that I'm pretty sure is Spanish, but I have no idea on the maker's mark. The bowl of the spoon has the five pointed star for .915 and another mark that looks like a 3 over GR. I'm not sure if the GR is a town mark for Granada or a maker's mark. I've been trying to find info on Spanish...

I have a butter knife with a MOP handle and the bolster is marked "England". The blade has a star along with what looks like a gothic R&B marking. Seems like it should be an easy one to ID but I am having a bit of trouble. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/EEYXx3Bv_QlCf5__L3-G2S9Ykxu5h...

Re: Unknown Mark On Coin Silver Shell Spoon
That would make sense with this one. This piece was purchased at an estate sale in a suburb just outside Detroit. This is a mark that seems to appear on a lot of pieces with retailers in the area around Detroit and as far East as Erie. Still looking into identifying it.
