Now the marks are very clear. It’s Hopeatakomo Oy (”silver forge limited company”), Helsinki.

Re: Finnish sugar sifter
The hallmarks are rather unclear, especially the first one which is probably the maker's mark. It looks like the crown has been struck twice and it might have distorted the maker's mark. 813H is for the fineness (H=hopea=silver), the next mark looks like a boat of Helsinki and the last one is the da...

Re: What is the Madonna spoon used for?
The text reads "Help us, Holy Trinity" and it's the Holy Trinity that is depicted: God the Father, the Son (Jesus on the cross) and the Holy Spirit (dove). The original spoon was probably a baptismal spoon but this one is a reproduction.

The best match I could find is the coat of arms of Killigrew. Their baronetcy became extinct in 1705 but there probably were other untitled family members. And the second link shows the lion crest too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killigrew_baronets https://shakespearereinvented.wordpress.com/2012/...

Fairbairn's book of crests gives the following families: Baines, Bone, Dempster, Gall, Hodkinson, Small. Unless there are initials or any knowledge of the provenance of the item it's impossible to know the family in question. See: https://archive.org/details/fairbairnsbookof02fair/page/n295/mode/2up...

Re: Unknown silver marks on a Meissen tea caddy
You are right. One of the marks does look like Swedish three crown mark. It could be an import mark but in that case the shape of the mark should be oval instead of the usual trefoil. Difficult to say for sure but if I had to guess the shape is more like trefoil in this case. If the hallmarks are Sw...

Re: Can anyone help identify who this coat of arms belonged to?
Coat of arms with mountain and star and baron's crown probably belong to the Swedish family Funck who had the rank of baron (friherre in Swedish). See: https://www.adelsvapen.com/genealogi/Funck_nr_189 The other coat of arms with a crown of untitled nobility could belong to Swedish noble family Mont...

I you open the picture on a new tab you can see a high resolution version. The first letter of the maker's mark is W and then there's a pellet. The second letter is visible only partially but could be B or D. My guess would be Walter Brind.

Re: Dublin Spoon Crest, Raised Arm with Sword & Flor de Lis
Fairbairn's Book of Crests gives the following entries: "Mahony, George Philip Gun. B.A., of Kilmorna. Listowel, co. Kerry, Ireland, out of the coronet of a Count of France a dexter arm in armour embowed grasping in the hand a sword, all ppr., hilt and pommel or, the blade piercing a fleur-de-l...

Re: Dublin Spoon Crest, Raised Arm with Sword & Flor de Lis
I browsed through Fairbairn's Book of Crests (can be found online if you wan't to try your luck) but couldn't find exactly similar crest there. There are many crests with an armoured hand holding a sword but I didn't find one with fleur de lis. Could you give the name you found so that I could check...

I think it's G.F. for Gustaf Folcker, 1807-1865 (1869). I couldn't find any maker with C.F. mark who would have worked in Stockholm in 1842.

Re: Paul Storr coffee pot... authentic? or?
I'm not an expert of Paul Storr but I happened to search some of his works and found "A William IV Silver Coffee Pot, Paul Storr, London, 1836" sold by Sotheby's (I can't give the link but you can Google it) which has identical spout to your coffee pot and otherwise the style matches too. ...

The first and fourth quarters look like the coat of arms of Wodehouse family, later Earls of Kimberley, assuming that the hatching follows the normal convention. I haven't been able to find a match for the second and third quarters though.

Closest match I could find when searching Fairbairn's book of crest is plate 126.14 which would be for: "Russell, Lieutenant - Colonel Andrew Hamilton. J.P., formerly of Manga Kuri, Hawkesbay, New Zealand, and now of Fonthill, Torquay, upon a mount vert, an antelope lodged ppr., gorged with a c...

13 Loth fineness is .812,5. Not sterling (.925). Combination of lion and Augsburg acorn suggests pseudo marks. Regards Hi where do you see a lion? I see n F The mark above 13 which might look like F is just struck weakly. I think it's a shield which has a lion's face (or some other animal). You can...

The first name (?) looks like Innen to me which wound mean "inside" in German. But this doesn't make much sense if Chanier is supposed to be a French surname. Just wondering how the engraving is placed and if it was meant to be seen at all? It doesn't really look like a well made engraving...
